Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Ondarre, we make sure our artisanal cheeses reach your table while preserving all their quality, freshness, and original flavor.

1. Coverage and Shipping Zones

We ship to Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

(Note: For shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, or international destinations, please contact us directly before placing your order).

2. Preparation and Delivery Times

  • Order preparation: As these are artisanal products, orders are carefully prepared at the Ondarre Farmhouse after purchase confirmation.

  • Estimated delivery time: Once the order leaves our facilities, the usual delivery time is 24 to 48 business hours within the mainland.

  • Shipping days: To guarantee maximum quality and prevent the cheese from being held at transport agencies over the weekend, we ship orders from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed from Thursday afternoon to Sunday will be processed starting the following Monday.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are automatically calculated in the shopping cart based on the destination and weight of the order before finalizing the transaction:

  • Mainland Spain shipments: €6.50 / Free for orders over €99

4. Transport and Product Preservation

Since our Latxa sheep cheeses are artisanal food products:

  • We work with courier companies that guarantee suitable transport for food products.

  • It is essential that someone is available at the provided address to receive the package during standard delivery hours.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is finalized and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with the purchase details and tracking information so you can check the status of your shipment at any time.

6. Receipt and Issues

If you notice any physical anomaly upon receiving your package (damaged, dented, or open packaging):

  1. Note it on the delivery driver’s slip at the time of delivery.

  2. Contact us within a maximum of 24 hours after receipt, attaching photos of the condition of the package and the product.
